About Us
Christina Catharina began with a simple love for beautiful things and a desire to share them with others.
Founded by Lizl—a mother of four, small business owner, creative at heart, and follower of Jesus—the business was built in the spaces between family life, school runs, church commitments, and the everyday rhythm of raising a family. What started as a passion project has grown into something truly special.
My heart is to offer products that are unique and exclusive—on-trend yet timeless. Some are imported, some are locally made, and others are thoughtfully sourced from further afield. To preserve that sense of exclusivity, I will always keep stock limited.
Today, Christina Catharina is entering an exciting new chapter. Our collection continues to expand, and our team is growing alongside it. While the business may have started with one woman and a dream, it is becoming something beautiful—a community of people who share a love for quality, creativity, and meaningful connection.

Why the name Christina Catharina?
My grandmother was the original Christina Catharina. She understood something about true style. It doesn’t have to cost a fortune, nor is it about creating an air of importance. In fact, it’s quite the opposite.
Daughters of God carry themselves with excellence—an excellence that speaks of love and grace, while also reflecting godly confidence and the creativity of our Creator.
Christina Catharina is also the name of my mother, my oldest sister, my beautiful daughter, and every eldest cousin in that family line, along with many of my own cousins. It is truly something special to me.
It’s the name shared by so many of the most important women in my life—yet it isn’t mine. From the very beginning, I felt God saying, “This will always be about lifting others up, never about you.”
